Welcome to my stop at Cursing Athena blog tour. this tour is organized by Sizzling PR and by the author Lisa Sanchez. My stop today includes a review of the Cursing Athena.
It was funny, that I got Lisa's newsletter about her new installment in the same time with the invitation from Marissa at Sizzling PR to host a spot. You see, I have read ad reviewed all Lisa's books and she has been featured on my blog several times with interview, guest post etc. So I was very happy to participate in Cursing Athena tour.
Today is the release day of Cursing Athena, so I would like to use the opportunity to congratulate Lisa. Congratulations with the release and well done with self-publishing, Lisa! You rock!

On a mission to take down a parasitic demon, Ty doesn't have time for distraction. Not even when that distraction could prove to be his possible lifemate in the form of sweet, innocent, yet sexy-as-hell Danika. But when the leech he’s hunting goes after the cocktail waitress, all bets are off. Unable to resist her siren call any longer, Ty surrenders himself to Danika, body and soul, treating them both to a night they'll never forget.
I have always loved Lisa’s books and I have read all of her published work, so I was really excited when I saw that she is starting a whole new series and the first novella in the series is about to be published!
Cursing Athena is a fun book to read: it is well-written, there is lots of action, Greek goddess, demons, love – what else do you need?! Yes, the novella is only 49 pages, but 49 pages can contain very good reading which Cursing Athena definitely was!
Regarding the plot:
Ty, who is serving Athena, is sent to earth to find a demon that is killing humans and while on the mission he meets Danika – a beautiful, brave, vulnerable and sweet woman. Ty knows that he needs to find the deadly demon, and he is distracted by Danika. Danika seems exactly what Ty has been searching in his long and lonely life – a life mate.
The writing is spicy and hot, which are the key words in Lisa’s books and I liked it a lot. Cursing Athena was a very good beginning to the series and I cannot wait until the next novella is out!
Regarding the characters:
I really enjoyed both main characters! There is another characteristic in Lisa’s writing that I love – his male characters are male with capital M, they are real alphas! Ty was gorgeous, manly, strong, persistent, a sweet to bone when it comes to protecting women! I loved it!
Danika was also lovable; she was a woman with very complicated past and had her struggles to come through with. She was very brave when he learned about who Ty really is.
Cursing Athena was a very good start for the series and it was fully enjoyable novella!
Thanks for Sizzling PR and Lisa for providing me the review copy!
